From running back Shannon Brooks' key block on the first touchdown, to Rasho Bateman's record-breaking performance to a key Chris Williamson's fourth-quarter pass breakup in the end zone, the Gophers commanded the momentum against one of the nation's best teams. Penn State had an opportunity to stop the game-opening touchdown, but the safety took a bad angle on the tackle and whiffed on Bateman.
The 66-yard score is the longest play allowed by Penn State's defense this season.

Minnesota sent a message to the naysayers out there, via Twitter after the game. His first quarter strike to Bateman on the sideline proved to be a tone-setter for the Gophers that wouldn't ever let up.
Minnesota improves to 9-0, while the Nittany Lions drop to 8-1.
