16-Inch MacBook Pro Teardown Reveals Scissor Switches Of Standalone Magic Keyboard

Now that Apple has updated its MacBook Pro lineup, it is quite expected that the previous devices in the series get some discount online.

"The 13.3" IPS Retina display features a WQXGA 2560 x 1600 screen resolution with a 227 ppi pixel density.

Apple has not revealed the launch date of the 16-inch MacBook Pro in India.

The display is one of the factors that work in favor of the new 16-inch MacBook Pro.

However, the new 16-inch MacBook Pro is slightly larger, thicker, and heavier than its predecessor, which shouldn't really bother professional users who are more concerned about performance. The aim of using this particular style keys was to make the keyboard slimmer or an overall slimmer profile of the laptops. It's unclear why Apple decided its scissor switches needed improving. The new keyboard features an Apple-designed rubber dome, with 1mm of key travel and a stable feel. Like the 15-inch model, the new variant is powered by a 2.6GHz (Turbo Boost up to 4.5GHz) 6-core 9th-generation Intel Core i7 processor. The MacBook Pro offers 512GB SSD with 16GB of 2400MHz DDR4 onboard memory.

Under the sale, which ends today, the e-commerce giant is offering upto Rs. 23,000 off across different products including some of the best-selling iPhones, MacBooks, iPads, Apple Watches, as well as Apple accessories such as the truly-wireless AirPods. The portal also found that the new MacBook Pro keyboard switches are interchangeable with the standard Magic Keyboard for the iMac and iMac Pro. There's also a much lower risk of breaking them when you need to remove or replace them.

Amazon is offering the flagship iPad Pro model (11-inch, Wi-Fi + Cellular, 256GB storage) for Rs. 94,905 as against its full retail price of Rs. 99,900. Another minor change seen in the keyboard of the 16-inch MacBook Pro is the separated TouchID fingerprint sensor.
