Mr Enanga said as a result, the Immigration Department has cancelled her temporary visa before security officials escorted her to Entebbe Airport and put on the immediate plane back to South Africa.
Ugandan police spokesperson Fred Enanga said in a video posted on Twitter yesterday that they are hopeful Chaka Chaka will visit the country again, "when she applies for the correct visa".
"The ordinary visa can not enable her to perform in any income-generating activity within the country".
"Now this was essentially by our officials to help maintain the integrity of our immigration rules for all visitors to our country, including foreign musicians".
"Yvonne's issue is hard to understand".
Chaka Chaka-famous for using her music like many south Africa artists of her time to promote anti-apartheid messages-has not shied from her support for Bobi Wine's political efforts.
So the police told Yvone Chaka Chaka not to perform her songs of freedom or mention anywhere, Bobiwines name at enkuuka.
In 2018, she said Wine was Uganda's Nelson Mandela...something which would not have gone down well in a country tightly controlled by President Yoweri Museveni and his ruling party. "She was refused to leave the hotel", Musinguzi said.
The singer performed in Uganda in July 2019 in a charity show at Serena Hotel where she met Bobi Wine whom he showered with praises. Today global icon Yvonne Chaka Chaka was deported from Uganda.
Bobi Wine himself has been banned from performing in Uganda since 2018 with Museveni claiming that he keeps telling the worldwide community that Uganda has been run down and the people have become poorer.
"I know my country is worried, my people are worried, my husband is worried, everybody is worried but I am fine".
In a separate post, the legendary singer uploaded a video of herself assuring her family and fans that she was in ideal shape but could not understand what was going on as no one had taken the time to enlighten her on the day's happenings.
