Pamela Anderson leaves husband after just 12 days of marriage

Hollywood is notorious for short-lived celebrity marriages, but Pamela Anderson's separation from husband Jon Peters may have just set a new record.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Anderson said it was a mutual decision between her and film producer Peters, 74, and asked people to respect their privacy.

Anderson added: "Life is a journey and love is a process". With that universal truth in mind, we have mutually chose to put off the formalization of our marriage certificate and put our faith in the process. "She remembers him telling her 'in 30 years, our age difference won't mean so much, '" she tweeted, adding that he proposed again on January 20, 2020, and she accepted.

"I tried to talk her out of doing Playboy".

While the nuptials seemed sudden, Pamela and Jon dated back in the 1980s when she first moved to Los Angeles from her native British Columbia, Canada, connecting at Hugh Hefner's Playboy Mansion.

How do you f*ck up a marriage to Pam Anderson in less time than it takes to backpack to four European countries? He continued, "There are handsome girls everywhere".

Pamela Anderson shot to fame after starring in the Baywatch series and reprised her role of Captain Casey Jean Parker in the 2017 movie version which had Dwayne Johnson and Priyanka Chopra in the lead. "She has yet to shine in a real way", Peters said.

The so-called marriage would've marked the fifth for both of them.

Peters now joins a list of Anderson's exes that include rocker Tommy Lee, with whom she has two adult sons; Kid Rock; and Rick Salomon (twice). "I could have my pick, but - for 35 years - I've only wanted Pamela", Jon gushed about his bride after the surprise wedding. "There is much more to her than meets the eye, or I wouldn't love her so much".

"They love each other very much", the rep shared.
